We now offer users the ability to export CQG market data and analytics to external applications.

Firms and traders looking to create a link between exchanges and their own software can use the CQG API to bring incoming market information from the CQG Integrated Client into external applications and process the information based on their needs.

CQG API Samples & Templates

CQG has crafted a series of interfaces with specialized views that can be used as product templates to provide speed and automation.  CQG also offers over a dozen sample spreadsheet trading solutions.

How does it work?

CQG’s API can combine with Visual Basic, C#, C++, and any other language that supports automation technology for:

  • Microsoft Excel object models
  • Web sites
  • External analytics
  • Automated trading
  • Third-party applications

How can it be used?

The API is for anyone interested in enhancing their own trusted set of trading tools with CQG's data feed and order routing services.  It helps traders' powerful tools become even more effective:

  • Individual users: access CQG market information and analytics or perform manual and auto trading
  • Third party software application providers: feed market data into front-end applications through the API or build web sites with real-time and delayed market data
  • FCM's: use the API to provide market data in middle and back-office systems
  • Hedge Funds and CTA's: perform manual and auto trading or implement analytical support

CQG provides access to its data through API Partners. Users who would like development assistance can contact Capital Markets Consulting, a CQG Development Partner.

API users must be enabled for CQG API data and must be logged into CQG Integrated Client while using API interfaces.
