Excel IFERROR Function

Mon, 04/25/2022 - 13:42
When designing Excel quote dashboards there should be a commitment to have it be a clean looking dashboard. However, sometimes an RTD call for market data can generate an error in Excel. For example, this is the RTD call for percent net change. RTD("cqg.rtd",,"ContractData",A3,"PerCentNetLastTrade",,"T") But, the value displayed when the cell is formatted for percentages is 100 times to large. Easy enough to fix by simply dividing by 100. Energy Market Summary April 24, 2022

Petroleum prices fell for the second week in four and fourth in seven. A decidedly mixed number of influences resulted in the appearance of prices meandering at various points through the week. The prospects of higher interest rates, a sharp increase in Chinese Covid rates, both of which should inhibit demand, and Saudi Arabian Crude exports reaching two-year highs were the key drivers weighing on markets. Increasing strife in Libya limiting exports, bullish EIA statistics showing domestic Crude production near one year highs and record high Crude exports from the US served to limit losses.

COVID-19 problems continue. There is a land war in Europe. There are fears of economic slowdown in Europe and the U.S. caused by inflation, which has brought aggressive central bank policy into play. There is a seemingly endless supply of negative or potentially negative headlines. This brings me back to my
