Ryan Moroney
Chief Executive Officer

Ryan has over 21 years of experience in the industry. Eighteen of those 21 years have been at CQG. Between 2003 and 2014 , Ryan filled a variety of roles starting out as a CQG Intern and then spent time in an operational role, support role, project management, and finally product strategy. From 2014 - 2017 Ryan was at S&P Global Market Intelligence. Ryan managed the sales and account management teams for the Americas. Ryan returned to CQG in 2017 as President and eventually was promoted to CEO of CQG.

Ryan: "I love to watch how CQG impacts people at an individual level. I want both our employees and customers to be able to look at themselves in the mirror every morning and feel successful and proud of their work."

To that end, Ryan's goal is to both nurture CQG's culture and build products so that both individual employees and customers enjoy their success. Ryan's passionate about growing CQG, because growing CQG means expanding our impact in the industry.

John Arvanites
Chief Technology Officer / Chief Architect

John joined CQG in 2009. John has been in the Information Technology business since early 1986. John has held positions at investment firms, software companies and information firms such as Reuters, CME, Stein Roe and Trading Technologies. John has held roles in operations, quality assurance, development, team management as well as Sr. Management. John enjoys all aspects of technology and continues to be hands on whereever he can. John is based out of our Chicago office and holds a BS in CIS and an MBA.

Alli Bennan
Managing Director, Head of the Americas & EMEA

Alli has been with CQG for eight years and has had various roles within the organization. Alli's most recent responsibilities involve managing sales for the Americas in 2020 and then was expanded to include the EMEA in 2022. Prior to CQG, Alli worked for nearly a decade at a Chicago-based FCM in roles ranging from marketing and business development to technology and operations. Alli has long enjoyed working in the futures industry and has always found it fascinating the way that futures markets provide unique risk management for producing the products and services we use every day.

Alli: "I am passionate about building tools for our wide range of customers and ensuring that we provide products that add value and enable our customers to manage risk smarter."

Kevin Darby
Vice President of Execution Technology

Kevin joined CQG in 2020 when Blue Trading Systems, a low latency futures and options software provider, was acquired by CQG. Kevin was co-founder of Blue Trading Systems from 2012-2020. Kevin was initially a CQG product manager and promoted to vice-president a year later. From 2000-2012 Kevin was an engineer, quant, and partner at Blue Capital Group, an equity and index options market maker. Kevin's initial foray into the financial world was as a runner on the floor of the CBOE from 1998-1999.

Kevin: "I love finance because it contains two of my favorite things - math and money!"

Rod Giffen
Chief Experience Officer

Rod joined CQG in 1995 with no previous industry experience. Prior to his arrival, Rod managed a Domino's Pizza franchise in the ski towns of Colorado. Rod is proud of CQG's longstanding role in our industry.

Rod: " I am passionate about the high-level quality of CQG Service and maintaining that level, including both the technology involved in keeping CQG customers properly connected to the markets and the problem-solving support our people are known for."

Sergey Gorelov
Head of Product Development

Sergey has 24 years of experience in IT, 19 years at CQG. Prior to CQG Sergey worked in the Industrial Automation field, focused on power plants automation. Sergey is committed to continuing to offer the highest level of functionality and reliability that customers expect from CQG. Sergey and his team aggressively stay on the cutting edge of new technologies while relentlessly working on scalability of our solutions to anticipate increased load and new usage patterns.

Sergey: "What has always excited me is the opportunity to be working with our brilliant engineers to optimize and deliver our products, which for me remains a thrill and a privilege."

Pat Kenny
Senior Vice President of Client Relations

Pat has worked in the financial trading sector for more than forty years. Pat has been with CQG since 2010. He has been a member of the CME Group since 1983. He is also Chairman (AFM) Association of Futures Markets since 2018, Board Member of FIA Tech and a Board member of The Small Exchange. Prior to joining CQG Pat worked as an officer and managing director for Patsystems North America. Before joining Patsystems, Pat held senior positions in institutional sales with Prudential Securities and ABN AMRO. Pat also worked in institutional sales at Geldermann and Harris Bank.

Marcus Kwan
Vice President of Product Strategy & Design

Since joining CQG in 2004, Marcus has led the product design efforts for CQG's platforms, including next generation data visualization, analytics, and trade routing applications. Prior to CQG, Marcus developed extensive software design consulting experience in a range of customer segments. Marcus worked at Microsoft in the Microsoft Windows Platform group, leading the company's user experience with Internet Explorer, search, and sharing. Prior to Microsoft, Marcus worked at Frog Design where he managed consulting on large enterprise design projects for SAP and Microsoft, as well as consumer experience and vision projects. Marcus earned a BA in Communications from Trinity University.

Marcus: "I am passionate about using design to collaborate with teams around the world to create products that help customers with mission critical tasks."

Jay Leonard
General Counsel

Before joining CQG in 2021, Jay was in private practice representing clients in the technology, finance, and food and beverage industries. His practice primarily focused on litigation and international arbitration as well as acting as outside general counsel for a handful of clients.

Jay: "I'm passionate about the cutting-edge projects that I get to work on at CQG and the great people I get to work with across all departments among the CQG family."

Steven Luebbering
Chief Financial Officer

Steven has been with CQG for over 16 years. Prior to CQG, Steven was with Levy Restaurants, Chicago, IL. Steven's passion is maintaining our owner's core philosophies on running the company.

Ben Soong
President, Asia Pacific

Ben has over fifteen years in the data analytics and trading infrastructure space having worked in senior executive roles at S&P Market Intelligence, Ledger and now over five years at CQG. Ben managed over 5 billion in acquisitions and integrations including companies such as SNL Financial, TheMarkets.com and Kensho.

Ben: "CQG is the best company I have worked at with its people first culture. Every day I work with some of the brightest and most creative individuals in finance. The derivatives space is an exciting place to be in the coming years as the market is on the cusp of broader market adoption as can be seen by the increased participants at both the institutional and retail level."

Troy Wood
Vice President of Customer Support

Troy has been with CQG for over 23 years. Troy Joined Xpit.com right out of out of college in 2000, starting out on its support desk. CQG purchased it a year later. CQG purchased Xpit for the trade routing and pre-trade risk technology.

Troy: "CQG has always been known for its extremely clean data and superior charting and analytics, but I have had the unique perspective to see the CQG brand become known for its trading and risk management as well. I love working with our customers, especially the FCMs, and hearing how much they love how we make their jobs much easier."
